Let me backtrack a bit…
Last night my ace boon coon Angie-la and I trekked to the AUC. Left our little Oxford behind and went to see what was going on over on Morehouse’s and Clark’s campus yee digg?
She went and chilled with her peoples, I met up with my girl from Clark, hit up Jazzman’s ya know? MEANWHILE over on The Strip (yeah it’s a pronoun) a damn sea of purple and gold started to form. Barking and shit. I was like “Woooooow.”
Actually two of them tried to get at me but… I’m not stupid. They’re called DAWGS for a reason (not just cause it’s the mascot. The mascot is there for a reason.)
We didn’t get back to Oglethorpe until 2a.m. I won’t talk about the coonery that happened at the West End station. Just know that someone might have gotten pushed onto the tracks in front of an oncoming train….. I digress.
Shoes coming soon! =) But in the meantime and between time, Econ homework calls my name.

Ok so… upon procrastinating on my Economics and Spanish homework, I had some friends come to the room.
(326 is where it all goes down ya’ll lmao.)
We, Three Musketeers (Riley, Byrd and I aka Duke Duke- don’t ask) are also known as the Asshole Coalition. It’s probably something we shouldn’t advertise all willy nilly (as Riley would say) but once you get around us you’ll know why. The smart ass-ness and sarcasm is just prevalent.
We each have our own style of smartass-ness. Byrd has the quiet storm smartass, you know the kind. Real slick with their comments and what not? Sometimes she’ll even add a smile to confuse your ass. Meanwhile, I’m just mean as hell… or… so I’ve been told, but hey! I can’t help it. People shouldn’t do or say stupid shit I figure. Riley adds humor to her smart ass. She’ll make a joke about it, or have a story to tell or whatever. Either way it goes, if we see or hear anything worth being a smart ass about, one of us (if not all of us) will comment.
Anyway, I’ve got to go study…. wink wink.

So my plans for the night consist of a Clark friend here, a few Morehouse friends there and a couple of Spelmanites sprinkled in… But we’ll see what happens. I’m open for anything on a Friday night yee digg?

For those of you who know me personally, you know that I aspire to become the CEO of a Fortune 500 company and one of the elite few that just so happens to make the Forbes List. (The Billionaires List mind you.)
I know, I know, I’m not the only one with these dreams. But, riddle me this Batman, how many of those people with the same aspirations are up on the economy like I am? I can quote the DOW’s top ten stock prices like Lit geeks quote Shakespeare, I shit you not. Wanna know how much Google is? Less than four hundred dollars a share (around how much it was going for around September last year… if not more) It’s probably around 340 something. ( I didn’t have to look that shit up either. Check my facts. I bet I’m right.)
Sidenote: Microsoft’s stock is down to $17 a share. Which means I need to start scraping up pennies like a momo. Buy low, sell high yee digg???
I bring up the slump of an economy for today’s blogging entertainment because I just finished doing my taxes.
I hate doing taxes. It’s a necessary evil, even though there isn’t a law written anywhere that taxes are SUPPOSED to be paid… Er… not that I know of (please correct me if I’m wrong). But I bet once you stop paying the IRS will pay you a happy ass visit, confiscating all the shit you paid for and worked hard to obtain…
Fuck economics and investment banking, I’m working for the government. They get the best benefits anyway.
I digress.

I almost forgot to mention the Superbowl is coming up! That makes me very happy! (Although, I’m a little sad that I won’t be home to join in the festivities but hey, I’m positive I’ll find something to do.) I’m pretty sure Ybor will be filled with tourists, the beaches will be crowded (like they aren’t already) and there will be tailgate parties out the ass. I almost wish I never left Tampa. (Almost.)
I’ll be all the way in Atlanta- on campus (in Lupton most likely), screaming at the large screen, rooting for the Steelers. I’ve got to admit, I didn’t pay the Cardinals any attention this year until that game against the Eagles, (I’ll give in, Fitzgerald is a beast… and Warner is … alright) but I am a long time Steelers fan… Roethlisberger [trust I had to Google to figure out how to spell it] is my dude! I’m still a little sad that Bettis retired but hey, Parker’s doing a decent job. And my man Ward… Well I’ll let you chose sides, but it’s apparent which one I’m on. Gotta go with the Black and Gold yee digg!

So I was going to go to the Morehouse vs. Clark game tonight but decided against it since I’d be going to the Hawks game tomorrow night.
I’m supposed to be writing a short dissertation about why I would just lurve to attend Oxford University but I can’t put into words what’d I would like to say without sounding like a complete jackass:
To Whom it May Concern,
I would like to attend Oxford University because having such on my resume would beat the shit out of my competition’s resume’s. Especially in this economy, I need all the help I can get.
Although, there are plenty of other reasons why I’d like to go to Oxford (of course) I just have to figure out how to word everything right.
I’ll figure out something. I always do.
Anywho, I was flipping through the channels today, (since I had no class, and felt no need to be productive for the moment I ended up on BET. Those who know me know I do NOT watch the Negro Channel) and I ended up watching Baldwin Hills. Apparently one of the characters goes to Spelman. (Side note: You have to wonder how many of her friend’s are actually friends and of whom are groupies. I’m sure she’s smart enough to figure that out.) Then I flipped to some show called the Tool Academy, and found out that Ray J has a reality bullshit show (when did he become relevant?) and then the Real World came on after Daddy’s Little Girls…
I have a question (I say as I wave my arm frantically in the air, waiting on the teacher to call me).
Who the hell comes up with these retarded ass ideas for reality shows? Riddle me this Batman, can I have a reality show too?!!??! Ehhh, no I wouldn’t stoop that low. Plus I don’t like all my biz out there like that.
Honestly though, between The Hills, Laguna Beach and whoever in the hell else is on TV, I don’t get it. By all means, make your paper boo boo, but lets put shit into perspective. ” Omg, she tooootally stole my boyfriend. Let’s go bitch about it while getting into my $40,000 car even though I don’t pay for it.” Meanwhile people are losing their jobs and can’t afford to feed their families.
But I digress, I’m getting off my soapbox now.

Saturday I went to the Battle of the Bands in the GA Dome…. It was thicker than a snicker!!! And then I hit up Club Miami that night… I won’t go into much detail about the fuckery that went on there. I had fun though =).
Sunday morning I went to church, some of the Men of Morehouse stopped by and we clowned ya know!
Yesterday I had classes and dance practice.
Today… I’m just chillin ya know!
I’m annoyed that this momo isn’t here yet! Messin with my plans man!

Despite the name of this post, I’m not going to go into a rant about the current state of hip hop… (In due time lovies)
ANYWAY!
Now that I have a moment to breathe I can update you on the current events that have gone on in my life =).
As I lay sprawled out in my bed in my dorm last night, (freezing mind you) I started to think about the past 2 weeks. I was over at the AUC last week meeting up with my friends from Morehouse, Clark AND Spelman. I gotta tell you it’s like a fashion show on that campus. Your shit has to be ON POINT when you attend any one of the schools in the AUC (Atlanta University Center for the oblivious ones). With that said, there are a whole bunch of clones though. I swear I saw three girls walking together and they all had on the same shit just in different colors. I promise I saw different variations of the same outfit at least four times…
I guess that’s just fashion though. Everybody follows the same trend and just puts their own spin on it. I mean, no diss, I’m sure I’ve accidentally matched someone as well…. Just an observation.
Oh well… I digress.
Moving on, as afore mentioned my classes are nicely scheduled. MWF I have International Economics, Advanced Spanish (except on Friday’s) and Principles of Business Management. My first class doesn’t start until nine (which makes me very happy since I had an 8am five days of the week last semester) and on Friday’s I’m done at eleven =). No classes on T/Th which means your girl will be tko’d until about noon. Just in time for lunch haha.
In addition to my kick ass schedule I’m working on studying abroad in April. I love Oglethorpe University sometimes, especially if OU can get me to Oxford with no hassle.
Yeaaaaah bitches I said Oxford. Ivy League, hop your ass on a plane across seas, Oxford.

I know… I try, haha.
If I end up at Oxford this will be my second time going to Europe. I’m excited, England here I come baby!
Switching lanes here, I’ve slacked on my shoe picks. (OMG I saw a chic trying to wear Christian Louboutin’s. That shit was FAKE! The color of the sole was NOT red my friends that shit was orange. Tryna pull a mickey! I know Christian L’s and those were NOT it.)

That is an interesting ass heel. I WANT IT. I couldn’t find the pricing for it, I believe it’s a part of the newest Spring collection but either way it goes, I’d rock the hell out of those heels. That’s on some Iron Man, fashion type stuff hahaha.
Anyway, it’s about the time to go meet up with the girlies for din din. You know I love food. Almost as much as shopping.
I believe we’re also going bowling.

Dance practices have continued. (I’m sore from four days of dancing.)

Uhhhhhhh, OH! So I’m working on going to Oxford in April. (Yeah… I got it like that) I’m actually applying for the program now…

Tampa International Airport….
So it’s 3:21 pm… I board the plane right before 4 30. We take off at 4 25.
GOODBYE JOOK CITY!!!!!! [Haha.] I’m going to miss Tampa. My seventy degree weather… to get to forty degree (and below) weather. Ugh, it pisses me off just thinking about it lol.
Well hey, Atlanta isn’t that bad. (Minus the fact there are no beaches) Atlanta’s pretty dope! Especially since I don’t have a car… officially….
Maaaaan I’m gonna miss driving! Ahh!
Oh well.
I’m not looking forward to riding the MARTA I’ll say that much. Just thinking about that pisses me off….
It was a productive break. I caught up with all my besties and some. Chilled with the family and clowned as usual. Good times. Ran Bayshore, went to the beach ya know… It was a fine vacation.
Battery is going low and I don’t feel like looking for an outlet…
Oh well. Next time I blog I’ll be back in Atl…..
